I have an Infantino carrier, but I’m not sure whether it is an Infantino Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier, Flip Front2back Carrier or Up Close Newborn Carrier included in the recall. How can I be sure?

Please locate the Item and Lot Code on your carrier’s sewn-in manufacturer's tag and if they match the Item & Lot Code below, your carrier is part of the recall.

The sewn-in manufacturer's tag can be found on the inner side of the waist belt.

Flip Front2back Carrier

Up Close Newborn Carrier

Item: 200-193A

Lot Code: 2018 0719

The Up Close sewn-in manufacturer's tag can be found on the inner side of the carrier body.

I have an affected Infantino carrier, and I saw the CPSC notice but I really like my carrier – do I have to replace it?

If your product is subject to the recall, we ask that you immediately stop using your product because it may present a potential fall hazard. Infantino would like to replace it for you so you can continue to safely enjoy our products.

Could a baby be injured if this product is used?

Although, thankfully, no injuries have been reported to Infantino, yes, there is a risk that a buckle could break presenting a potential fall hazard to a child.

Why do I have to cut out a piece of the waist belt, why can’t I just return the whole carrier to you?

If you believe your product is subject to the recall, Infantino is asking you to please cut a portion of the waist belt which: a) renders the carrier unusable; and b) allows for appropriate returns and replacements to be facilitated quickly and efficiently.

Can I return my Infantino carrier to the store for a refund?

This will depend on the individual store’s policy. We are happy to assist you.

How soon will I receive my replacement product?

Consumers will receive the replacement product within 3 – 4 weeks from when the recall packet is received.

How will I know if you have received my recall packet and/or sent out my replacement item?

You will be notified via email once we receive your recall packet and confirm you own a carrier that is subject to the recall.

What if I don’t have the manufacturer's tag on the carrier? I cut them off.

No problem, just call our Infantino Customer Support at 1-800-840-4916 and a Customer Service Rep will be happy to assist you.

I had one of the included carriers – but have thrown it out – can I still receive a replacement?

Unfortunately, it is necessary for us to receive the recall packet (including the waist belt portion of the carrier) to be able to issue a replacement.

I have several carriers - can you provide me a refund or replacement for all of them?

Infantino is offering a replacement program only for products subject to the recall. We will supply you with one recall packet via mail for each affected carrier you own. You will be required to complete and return a recall packet for each carrier you own. This will involve cutting a portion of the waist belt on your product to return to us for verification.

What if I don’t have access to a printer?

No problem, just call our Infantino Customer Support at 1-800-840-4916 and a Customer Service Rep will be happy to assist you.

Do I have to pay for anything?

No – We pay for the shipping on the return and replacement product if your product is subject to the recall.

What product are you sending as the replacement?

You will receive a new product of the same model or one of equal value that is not affected by this recall and safe to use.

I have one of the affected carriers, but my child is much older, and none of the replacement options are age appropriate. Can I get a refund instead?

Infantino is only offering a replacement program at this time.

I sent in my recall packet and waist belt a long time ago. When will I receive my replacement?

The replacement product should arrive within 3 to 4 weeks from when we receive your recall packet with the required portion of the waist belt. Please contact us if you have not heard from us in this time.

I have a Go Forward with item number 200-202, is it recalled?

No, this version is not part of this recall.

I have a Flip Advanced or Flip 4-in-1 with item number 200-183R or 200-183J, respectively – is it recalled?

No, this version is not part of this recall.
